What you ask for and what we check

You ask for

  • Plot locationsAn outline or a point for every plot.
  • Harvest date or seasonWhen the product was produced.
  • Contact detailsName, address and email, if you do not have them yet.
  • Legal documentsLand rights, permits and licences, or the reason they cannot send them.
  • Supply chain and certificatesTheir role, the steps before them, mixed product, and any certificate.
  • Your own questionsA follow-up in your words, answered on the same link.

We check

  • A shape the EU system acceptsAt least three corners, no crossing lines, no broken holes.
  • An outline where one is neededA plot over 4 hectares sent as a point is flagged, except for cattle.
  • In the right countryEvery plot has a country, and a plot far outside it is flagged.
  • No doublesOverlaps and near-duplicates between their own plots are flagged.
  • A field, not a villageA point on a built-up area is flagged: a town is not a plot.
